Nowadays, laptops and mobile phones have made useful compact devices commonly seen. However, printers, among the most-used work equipment, have not seen significant breakthrough. Existing office printers are bulky and difficult to carry, while the small portable printers and the receipt printers can only print limited results (i.e. limited materials and sizes, small cards or slips) Portability and practicality have long been a trade-off that needs to be balanced. DynPrint is designed to resolve this dilemma, offering the flexibility to print anytime, anywhere; with its design of a small and portable size.

DynPrint 2.5D vs Competitors
- All-in-One Functionality: Prints, copies, and scans in any size. Competing products like HP ET-3850 and Canon PIXMA TR150 are limited to A4 printing and lack scanning capabilities.
- Portable & Lightweight: At just 300g and 80×60×60 mm, it’s highly portable, unlike bulkier models like HP ET-3850 (6.7kg) and Canon PIXMA TR150 (3.3kg).
- Wide Surface Compatibility: Print on any surface, including regular and photo paper, compared to competitors like Canon LiDe400 and Instax mini 12, which are limited to specific uses (copying or photo-only printing).

What are we making
A coffee-mug-sized portable printer robot that is able to print on any size or material surface at anytime and anywhere. Instead of inserting paper into a printer and only printing limited size and material, we designed it to let the printer robot move on its wheels to print. The DynPrint printer robot can match the printing quality of normal conventional printers.

Market Gap
There is a significant gap in the market for a versatile, portable printer that combines the functionality of a large office printer, copier, and instant photo printer. Our product, a coffee-mug-sized portable printer, addresses this gap by allowing users to print on any size or material surface, anytime and anywhere. This innovation not only meets the need for portability but also expands the potential use cases for printing on the go, providing a solution that current products do not offer. Target User
Our initial target customers are primarily students and business travelers. Students have a high demand for printing, but dormitories usually don't have printers. Buying a personal office printer is expensive and takes up space. In China, dorms typically accommodate 4-8 people, and there isn't enough room to place a printer. To use a communal printer, students have to go to the academic buildings or off-campus print shops. Additionally, in China and many other countries, there are often no printers available for students to use within school campuses.

Customer’s Opinion
Specifically in May, Yuting encountered a business traveler on a flight who is a key member of the Chinese Artists Association. During their conversation about DynPrint`s product, the artist expressed significant interest in making a group purchase on behalf of the association, highlighting how our product could address critical challenges faced in artists’ daily work. Yuting maintained the contact and we will continue following up on this sale at demo-stage and post-launch'
